He can't see my steps

  1. Open iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Penguin and turn on Steps.
  2. Open the Health app and check that steps are showing up there.
  3. Open Penguin again. He'll pick up the new total.

Live steps are off in walk mode

Walk mode uses Motion & Fitness for live counts. Open iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Motion & Fitness, turn on Fitness Tracking, then turn on Penguin. Without it, your count updates when Apple Health syncs.

My numbers don't match the Health app

Penguin uses Apple Health's daily total, the same one the Health app shows. If you wear an Apple Watch, it can take a few minutes to sync. Give it a moment and reopen the app.

The widget isn't updating

iOS decides when widgets refresh. Opening the app once usually nudges it. Low Power Mode slows updates. If it's stuck, remove the widget and add it again.

Leaving a Waddle

Open the Waddle and tap “Leave” followed by its name. Leaving stops your updates, but your last shared summary stays visible to that Waddle until its owner removes you. If it's your Waddle, “Close my waddle” removes everyone and deletes it.

Starting over

In the app, go to Settings › Reset everything. This clears his name, Aura, unlocks, and rest days. Your Apple Health data is untouched.
